Grower: Rach Rollers
Rating: 4.4
Snowman looks right—real right. The bud that Rach Rollers sent me was long, velvety and sticky to the touch, super verdant, super natural—the way God intended cannabis to look. Its aroma leads with a sour mango and citrus earthy haze and develops with a musky funky pine. (As a point of contrast—Nick High remarked that the musky funky pine was the leading aroma with the fruit more subdued). The flavor starts fruity as well with a mixture of marian plum and orange—but without the sourness of the aroma. The flavor then dives deep into an earthy taste with accompanied herbal mint aftertastes—a retreat from the more citrus fruit initial notes.
The high is initially calming, Zen and stress releasing. There is no added energy—but those calm vibes allow for great concentration and focus (at the very beginning). But this bud is a creeper and the high keeps getting deeper and deeper into the body—calling out for the consumer to kick back, put up his feet and catch some z’s. That’s exactly what I did.
I very much enjoyed and recommend Snowman. The aromas and flavors are an interesting and good mix of fruity, herbal and earthy (with a peppery hint)—the high is a great way for either experienced or novice consumers to end the day, lay back and push all their worries to tomorrow. The bud is strong—but not overwhelming—novice consumers should keep this in mind and consume in moderation.
