Rastamon, deep dark green and frosted, is one super sticky bud. The bud (and its stickiness) have a shrieking strong aroma for citrus fruit which gives way to pine, then menthol and earth. Once the nostrils get used to that pine citrus aroma an underlying diesel makes itself known and doesn’t disappear until the bud is long combusted and gone. Indeed, that diesel defines the “dry pull” and dominates the flavor of the Rastamon with a caramel burnt sugar sweetness, pine, and herbs.
Rastamon is a daytime bud for sure with a heady, thoughtful high which gives the consumer clear perspective and measured energy. I was full on alert, focused, concentrated on my work and my to do list, but without pressure or stress. This is a serious working high seemingly designed to get things done.
I highly recommend Rastamon to those consumers looking for utilitarian buds or those who just love diesel. Even though the opening notes of the bud are citrus—this is a diesel driven bud, no doubt. If you can’t get work done with this bud—its time to retire (or you’re just plain lazy).
