Summer Rainbow took me for a whirl. The aroma is good—fruity, very sour, sweet with strong notes of lemon citrus and tropical fruit. I accepted that this is a good quality fruity bud and was ready for a predictably good citrus fruity bud. But then I took a dry hit which revealed elements of strong pine, garlic, earthy and herbs—a departure from that sour citrus aroma. The flavor further expanded on the same savory elements with an even deeper commitment to full pine forest, grass and herbs, garlic and sweet onions and the last remnants of lemon slipping in from the aroma. A really lovely and old school flavor.
The high is deep, strong and heavy in the body. Locked in with muscles loosened and the posterior attached to the furniture. Despite the couch lock I still felt a tingling in the body and a bit of excitement perhaps even energy in my head—but before I could act upon that heady energy and physical tingling I drifted off to sleep.
I highly recommend Summer Rainbow to old school experienced consumers. I am not that excited about the aroma, which is good but not necessarily exception. But the flavor is an absolute winner and the high excellent and for me that just makes this bud a must have for old school tokers. The high is too strong for novice consumers who will be overwhelmed by the strength.
