The following diary entry is shared to provide insight into my personal use of cannabis for medicinal purposes.
Blackout Cherry was amongst the care package of fresh buds which Astro Farms gave me and asked me not to review—as I was promised fully cured versions of that bud for review (which I am still waiting as I write these words). I left these buds in a TerpLock bag for about 6 weeks and turned to them after having a hankering for Astro Farms unique and clean style of buds. The buds are incredibly fragrant with strong sweet syrupy cherry and berry aromas and secondary orange citrus, and the beginnings of gassy fumes. The flavor is deep into those cherries with touches of spice. Super delicious—but the flavor invites profound and long drags which inevitably lead to serious coughing.
The high is serious! I smoked half a J and then found myself completely overwhelmed, sunk deep in my chair, absent any ability to care for myself and with the grateful appreciation that I was at home and had no need to move anywhere. This is a heavy hitter for sure! I ended up surrendering to the bud and sleeping in place (until I was fetched to bed).
This bud is ready for any serious toker looking for strength and sweet syrupy cherry and berry flavors. For sure not a bud for novice (or even intermediate) consumers who may end up in a situation of panic due to the overwhelming strength. I can’t wait to try the cured version!
