One of the coolest things when receiving Green Point’s Take 5 pack was the inclusion of growers I am quite fond of, such as Tropical Thunder. It has been just over two years since I last smoked their Total Eclipse and I was excited to have them back in my queue. The bud has a minty and sweet fruity aroma. A mix of lemon with a touch of haze, banana with a touch of vanilla, and a fresh herbal mint. The dry pull has the strongest hazey emphasis as a secondary note to stronger lemon and banana “mouth smells”. The flavor brings an earthiness into the foreground mixing well with the already established lemon, banana, vanilla and mint. A very refreshing and enjoyable profile.
The high uncouples the brain from unnecessary stress and distraction and allows for engagement, thoughtfulness, production and creativity. Spirits are uplifted enough to encourage enjoyment of the surrounding—attention to the senses (food and music were highly appreciated)—in a gently euphoric and mellow mood. The bud does not go deep into the body—but it does have enough effect to loosen and slightly relax the corpus.
I highly recommend Total Eclipse to all consumers looking for a bud which will curb the edge of life while allowing production, thought and creativity. The flavors and aromas are on point, pure, clean and enjoyable. As always, novice consumers should come to this bud in moderation—but this could be a great introduction to a mellow but productive bud for new consumers. Experienced consumers will understand exactly what they have on their hands and enjoy the process.
