The following diary entry is shared to provide insight into my personal use of cannabis to alleviate a series of medical and health issues.
I had never heard of Magic Straw prior to this session, but I’m always excited to try anything that Humble Garden Farms puts their minds and hands to—and this cultivar justifies that trust. The aroma grabbed me right away with a strong blast of pine, heavy skunk, and a distinctly rubbery funk. Once ground, the profile opened up revealing brighter notes of citrus lemon and strawberry. That same lemon and strawberry make brief but welcome appearances in the taste but the flavor experience is driven from first spark to the end of the joint by a dominant herbal intensity. That herbal backbone finishes with a crisp mint and clean licorice note which is truly awesome.
The high unfolds in layers. It begins calm and focused, accompanied by a gentle tingling throughout the body. That sensation briefly gives way to a short dazed phase before resolving into an uplifting, relaxed, and chill—but very conscious—state. Awareness stays intact throughout, shifting gears and speeds rather than shutting down.
I highly recommend Magic Straw to consumers who love herbs, skunk, and pine. The strawberry and lemon are welcome accents, but they are supporting actors rather than the stars—and that balance works perfectly for me. The high is deep, layered, and always conscious, making this an excellent choice for experienced consumers. Novice users should approach with caution as this is likely best suited to only the bravest among them.
