Black Out Bobby outperformed my expectations. I’m not sure why, perhaps I was just grumpy after dealing with a long day of mild annoyances, but I didn’t expect much from the bud which opens with very earthy tones right out of the bag. But, once I started pinching, manipulating and finally grinding the bud, that earth opened into a sort of gassy, skunky and soapy aroma, with a strong dose of pine yeasty cookies and spice and very evident blackberry notes. The flavor is simple but delicious—heavy gas with touches of black berry fortified wine.
The high is marvelously calming. Indeed, the bud profoundly gets deep into the body, releases the muscles and inhibitions. For me it also destressed and de-annoyed me and gave me the added perspective to realize that all around me are wrong and I am right. Lastly, this bud made me sleepy—and after combusting a generous J, I gave in to sleep while avoiding the pangs of munchies.
I highly recommend Black Out Bobby to all experienced consumers—especially those who love full on gassy/skunky buds with an adult touch of fermented fruit (and pepper). These are adult and serious flavors accompanied by a perfect high to end a rough day. What more can you ask for? Experienced consumers will know if they need this bud. I am not sure that novice consumers would know they need this—I would recommend they first get a bit of education before trying Black Out Bobby.
