The following diary entry is shared to provide insight into my personal use of cannabis to alleviate a series of medical and health issues.
Cherrytini opens with an old-school layered aromatic profileโpine, fresh herbs, and a cooling menthol note dominate the nose. Only after spending time with the bud does the cherry reveal itself, emerging subtly once the sharper, greener notes are identified and set aside. The flavor follows a similar path but with greater clarity. Earthy and herbal notes form the backbone of the smoke, joined by a clean pine presence and a distinct cherry accent reminiscent of a classic cherry cough drop (more cherry than cough). The menthol quality ties everything together, giving the smoke a cooling, medicinal edge that feels intentional and well-balanced rather than overpowering.
The high begins in a heady, alert, and mentally stimulating stateโI expected it to keep me up and engaged. But Cherrytini is a creeper. As time passes, the experience slowly sinks deeper into the body, unwinding tension and softening the edges of thought. The senses become heightened, simple pleasures feel richer, and motivation gradually fades into a blissful, effortless nap.
I recommend Cherrytini to anyone who enjoys menthol and fruit-forward combinations, especially those who appreciate a more nuanced, evolving experience. I personally found this bud interesting and genuinely enjoyable. The high is substantial without being overwhelmingโstrong enough to satisfy experienced consumers while remaining approachable for novices. That said, newer consumers should be mindful of the progression toward relaxation, loss of motivation, indulgent enjoyment, and ultimately sleep.
