The following diary entry is shared to provide insight into my personal use of cannabis to alleviate a series of medical and health issues.
Eclipse Candy at the outset, put me slightly off with a sharp, assertive, and almost distracting orange. But with deeper inspection, layers of cherry emerged alongside marshmallow vanilla sweetness, followed by herbal mint and an earthiness. But the defining moment came when a strong essence of cardamom pushed through, transforming the experience into something deeply layered and compelling aromatic journey.
The flavor opens with an orange-diesel hit that closely mirrors the aroma, but quickly evolves. The cardamom asserts itself on the palate, adding warmth and spice, while a diesel backbone remains ever-present, anchoring the experience. It’s a bold, expressive smoke—sharp, spiced, and savory—with enough complexity to keep each pull engaging and slightly different from the last.
The high is strong and immersive. I found myself sitting still, numb and slow, drifting into a dreamy, dazed state—awake, but detached. Time stretched as I stared out toward the horizon, enjoying the evening breeze and music. Motivation dropped to zero, replaced by a calm, suspended stillness. It’s not a sleepy high, but rather an “awake coma” state—present, conscious, and fully checked out from productivity.
I highly recommend Eclipse Candy for experienced consumers seeking layers upon layers of aroma and flavor paired with a powerful, enveloping high. Not sure that I would recommend to novice consumers who either may be completely knocked out by the high or go into an introspective paralysis— for sure unpredictable how they would react.
