The following diary entry is shared to provide insight into my personal use of cannabis to alleviate a series of medical and health issues.
Gary’s Eyes comes through with a sweet, strong and dank spiced fruit aroma, with a waxy pine essence mixed in. The dry pull is heavy on fruit and spice. The flavor lies in the world between gas and skunk with a delicious deep down fermented fruit and pine taste which seems both very modern and somewhat nostalgic. Flavors and aromas which really speak to me and I found incredibly enjoyable.
The high is strong—and I may have overdone it to a point. As mentioned earlier, I love the aroma and flavor and combusted and consumed a large amount of flower. This bud left me first in a state of elevated happiness, ready to tackle the world and engage socially with anyone who would have me. But as I continued to consume (and way before the conclusion of my joint) I began feeling myself being dragged deep down into a heavy body high, with my body going limp, and my mind slowing down considerably until I was almost comatose and then very much comatose. At one point I fell asleep on my balcony, lit joint in hand, only for that joint to fall and sear my hand to a nice medium rare. I took a few more puffs to alleviate the pain of the burn.
I highly recommend Gary’s Eyes to all experienced consumers. The bud is strong and it got me pretty stoned, useless but very happy. The flavors are awesome with a blend of old school skunk with new school fruity gas. I do think the bud is way too strong for novice consumers—who would need a few trip around the block before landing on this one.
