Lemon Candy Berry OG is a real solid bud—the type of bud which won’t let you down in a pinch. Actually, that pinch would be mildly sticky on a very bushy green, sparkly bud with ample rust colored hairs. The aroma is candy fruit dominant, lemon and red and purple starburst comes to mind, with secondary whiffs of herbs, earth and some musk. The flavor hits first with an earthy and gassy taste with candy berries a fain accent, and finishes with some pepper and spice.
The high is buzzy and dynamic in the head, but laid back and loose in the body. It’s an interesting combination as the head seems to be on a different plane than the body. But eventually the heady energy subsides, and the head catches up, or perhaps catches down, with the body. Indeed, Mrs. Mendel found me at the end of the night asleep on the balcony and demanded I come back in to take care of the baby.
I recommend Lemon Candy Berry OG to both novice and experienced consumers. This is the type of bud that all consumers will find something they like in. It has a fruity aroma for the younger generation, while the gassy and earthy flavor will satisfy older grumpier consumers. Novice consumers should be aware of the buzzy headiness which could trigger anxiety in some consumers (not this one)—moderation as always is the way to go.
