Night Moves is one of my favorite cultivars—if I had a short list of buds I would choose to have with me on a deserted island, Night Moves would be on that list. White Labs gave me a heads up that they were sending me samples of their Night Moves and I was both excited and a bit nervous. Awesome that I was getting one of favorites—but what if they did it wrong? Well, they did it right—and it was right for all the right reasons! The second I opened the packaging a super danky, musky and skunky, pine, menthol and lemon citrus aroma came through. Pure pungency—and oh so beautiful to take in. The flavor matches the aroma perfectly, with an added sweet dark berry and nutty earthiness, and a super rich and velvety thick smoke. Super delicious.
The high starts with a noticeable and pleasing pressure at the base of the skull. That pleasing feeling melts through the rest of the body—with a welcoming chilled out and relaxed corpus but a mind which is alert, clear and hungry for music, stimulation and food. Indeed, while the body is lulled into a relaxed state, the mind and senses are fully awake and eager to be engaged and satisfied.
Night Moves is a bud I highly recommend to all consumers. The aromas and flavors and high are on point—White Labs Thailand can hold their heads up high knowing they have done justice to this beautiful cultivar. Experienced consumers will know they have a winner on their hands and in their lungs—novice consumers will be treated to a true classic (which they should consume in moderation with 1-2 puffs before taking a 15 minute break and reevaluating their situation).
