Getting Permanent Marker from Humble Garden Farms is basically a sure thing. Both the grower and the cultivar are certified classics at this point. Indeed, this review feels superfluous—previous sessions and past writeups have already done this bud more than enough justice. Still, it deserves continued appreciation. Permanent Marker remains a spicy, fruity, funky, rubbergas powerhouse that consistently hits exactly where it should. The aroma is loud and unmistakable—sharp rubber and gas right up front, layered with fruit, spice, and a deep, funky backbone that immediately signals potency. The flavor follows suit, delivering that same rubbery gas profile with added fruit and spice that keep each pull engaging and satisfying.
The high is deep, immersive, and unapologetically stoning. Permanent Marker reliably drops me into a heavy, enveloping state that feels both grounding and consuming. Focus narrows, the body settles, and the mind slows just enough to make anything resembling fine motor control—like handwriting—an absolute lost cause. Notes turn to scribbles, ambition evaporates, and the experience fully takes over.
As always, I highly recommend Permanent Marker for consumers who enjoy knocking themselves down for a while. This is a strong cultivar best suited for the end of the day, when productivity is no longer required or desired. It’s a serious bud for experienced consumers, and only the bravest novice users—those truly ready to end their day and night—should consider stepping into its orbit.
