Pink Island Kush is an extraordinary cultivar. The aromas start gently with delicate, refined floral and sweet perfume wafts which mix with less subtle earthy and sour pine notes and hidden citrus. The flavor is delicious with an incredible rose mixing with earth, spice, herb and woody pine. The Kush notes on this bud are really well presented—and they are thoroughly complemented by the gentle sweet floral notes. Very much beauty and the beast—or perhaps Lady and the Tramp.
The high is super chill, laid back, relaxed, with the body melting into the furniture and the mind slowly adjusting its focus to only that which is important and right in front of the eyes or ears. This was a delightful way to end the day, listening to music, enjoying the evening breeze, and giving in to very strong munchies.
I highly recommend Pink Island Kush to all consumers. The flavors and aromas are both familiar and novel. Solid old school Kush with a delicate and luxurious flowery bouquet. The high is full on relaxed and happy—not overwhelming, but very satisfying. This is definitely a bud I will return to happily to explore further—I believe I have just scratched the surface.
