The following diary entry is shared to provide insight into my personal use of cannabis to alleviate a series of medical and health issues.
Platinum Bird is my first experience with Mudgee Botanica, and I’m very happy to welcome them into the queue. Credit is also due to Cannexus Solutions for putting these buds in front of me. The aroma is immediately engaging—sugar cane sweet with strong herbal and minty essences, layered with pine, menthol, skunk, and gas. It’s loud, complex, and beautifully old school in its presentation. The flavor captures those same notes from the aroma and pushes them further. Sweetness and herb give way to piney gas and skunk, joined by cracked pepper and a subtle sweet onion note that adds depth and savoriness. The smoke is expressive and characterful, with real weight and presence.
Based on the intensity of the aroma and flavor, I expected the high to be stronger, but the experience was still very good. The effect is chill, relaxed, and mellow—clear-headed and comfortable. It’s a great state for taking everything in, thinking creatively, enjoying some television, and settling into food without being overwhelmed.
I highly recommend Platinum Bird to all consumers. This is a great introduction to old-school, high-quality cannabis characteristics for newer consumers, while still offering enough flavor and character to keep experienced users engaged. A very strong first impression from Mudgee Botanica.
