Sex on the Beach, the first bud I’ve ever tried from Canabangka, is impressive. For starters, the bud is more reminiscent of actual sex on a beach than the cocktail that shares the same name. I personally prefer sex over cocktails. The bud is bulbous, with good density, springy, sticky, and very verdant. The aroma is gassy, musky, with layers reminiscent of sexual body odor, earthy, nutty, very dank with traces of sweet pineapple in the mix—and with more tropical fruit brought out in the grind. The stickiness on the fingers has a strong scent of citrus and pine. The flavor is dank and gassy, skunky, musky, with great pine and sweet earth notes.
The bud is strong, with deep heady and body effects. On the one hand the mind feels like it is wandering on its own journey, focused and engaged but following its own path and dismissing all distractions. The body on the other hand gets fully relaxed, muscles and spine loosened, with an eventual full descent into sleep.
I highly recommend this bud to consumers who search for gassy and sensual aromas and flavors. Any experienced consumer will attest to the fact that there is a living connection between cannabis and the consumer—perhaps one of the reasons it clicks so well with our biology and alleviates so many ailments. Sex on the Beach touches, literally and figuratively, on that deep connection between human and plant.
