Grower: Goodfellas Seeds

I am always excited to try a new grower, and even more excited when that grower makes good first impression with an excellent bud. That is exactly what Goodfellas Seeds did with their Sonic Boom. This sticky bud came immediately got my attention with a deep caramel coffee aroma mixed with a skunky muskiness and a citrussy pine note. The flavor is beautifully smooth leaning into that sweet caramel coffee taste with a very adult sexy musk to keep things interesting and just the hint of that citrus pine, perhaps just a memory from the aroma.
The high is uplifting, exhilarating, engaging and very much exciting. I’m not sure if it was the energy of the bud or the fact that I had learned of a new excellent grower—but I was psyched. Slowly that energy tapers into a relaxed but still awake state, great for relaxing and taking a load off at the end of the day without passing out.
I highly recommend Sonic Boom to all consumers. I love the earthy coffee flavors and citrus highlights and thought the high was functional and fully uplifting and engaging. Inexperienced consumers should come to the bud in moderation—but this is a beautifully positive bud, and would make for a great initial experience and foray into the world of cannabis.
