The following diary entry is shared to provide insight into my personal use of cannabis for medicinal purposes.
This bud deserves a better name. โStrawberry Chocolateโ does describe in part the initial aromas of the cultivar, namely light sweet berries and an earthy chocolate, but there is so much more which makes this bud so much more interesting. That chocolate is actually a very gassy, earthy chocolate which is more like a tootsie roll than anything, perhaps with a bit of caramel, very much like an old fashioned dime store candy. Grinding that bud releases strong diesel aromas, funk and a strong clean licorice. The flavor is an experience unto itself, starting with earthy chocolate, which then develops into a choco pine, and then about a third down the J a strong arak (licorice liquor) taste starts to coat the mouth as the flavor further develops with herbs, onion and chives and ends with a curious cheese. Good luck finding a flavor adventure like this elsewhere.
The high starts off chill, relaxed, with a loosening of the muscles and great reduction of pain and stress. This high maintains for a good half hour or more, lazy and laid back, but still on earth. But then the high develops deeper and deeper into the body, overwhelming the sense, taking the consumer deep into the world of stoned, and offering only one exit: sleep.
I highly recommend this bud to all experienced consumers. The flavors and aromas are novel, rare, and wonderful to experience. The high is very strong and will get the consumer gradually and then fully stonedโappropriate for those with experience (and nothing to do)โbut far too strong for novice consumers.
