White Labs commented that their Tea Time smells and tastes like Oolong Tea. I guess I can see that after the fact—but that is not where my head went when I experienced this excellent bud. This bud comes out with a super fragrant sweet herbal mint, petrol, nutty and pine aroma. I remarked to Mrs. Mendel that “this one smell really nice!” To which she replied “this one smells really strong!” Well, we were both right, it smells really nice and strong! The flavor is a showstopping dank and deep sweet musky blueberry, earth, herb and mint with a gassy menthol finish. So fucking delicious.
The high is strong, quickly moving in and taking over mind commanding it to focus, contemplate. There are no distractions with this bud—just clear and developing thoughts and a creative spark and motivation. Once engaged in activity the high swings into a euphoric, peaceful and content place leaving the consumer in a Zen like state. Finally—despite the early energy and creative buzz, this bud knocked me out deep from late at night through almost lunch time.
I highly recommend Tea Time to all consumers. I can’t get over the flavors and the aromas—they really speak to me and hit all my buttons. I expect to see this bud on an end of year list. The high is quite excellent, but (at least for me) it was a deep creeper swinging from highly energetic to deeply lethargic. Novice consumers—the bud is strong but fun—a couple puffs and then come back after 15 minutes for another couple puffs if you’re still up to it.
