Strain: Mendocino Skunk

Mendocino Skunk really speaks and resonates with me on so many levels. The aroma has a citrus, lemon lime and plum aroma, mixed with a deep sexy body funk which develops further into sour skunk. And that skunk grows further dominating the dry pull along with a sweet citrus. The flavor is amazing, hard skunk, and I mean real down and danky skunk, super old school, super familiar, mixed with this delightful and more delicate, honeysuckle sweet, red berry, citrus and sweet sour plum taste. It is amazing—like a dance between a group of rank funky ogres and delicate elegant nymphs.
The high starts of heady, with pressure around the forehead, mild euphoria, with the brain singularly focused as if locked in blinders. The high lets the mind wander on its own while locked in one direction with fleeting feelings of excitement, awe, and general enjoyment (of the bud itself). The initial pure headiness does melt into the body, soothing the muscles, relaxing the corpus and leaving the consumer in a state of bliss.
I highly recommend this bud to all consumers with an emphasis for experienced skunk lovers. I personally cannot get over that amazing flavor—super classic with a novel fruity twist. Just beautiful. Novice consumers will be introduced to history through an elite quality bud. The bud is strong, heady and then relaxing. Novice consumers should be prepared for that ride.
