The following diary entry is shared to provide insight into my personal use of cannabis to alleviate a series of medical and health issues.
Canis Major’s Candy Pavé is the gold standard by which all other attempts to grow Candy Pavé is (and has always been in these pages) judged against. The bud is plush, long, sticky, and announces itself to the world with layers of aromas. Those aromas include a super strong pine forest menthol diesel base, the sweet and sour essence of an unidentifiable citrussy fruit, rubber, floral notes, vanilla and custard (separately). The dry pull is simpler with a clean pine menthol “mouth smell”. The flavor starts off soapy, leading next into a strong pine, and continuing with that very diesel taste picked up first in the aroma, then developing further into a very clean and refreshing fennel. The flavors and aromas are like a game of Jenga with layers upon layers seemingly teaming up to tower over everything else.
The high starts off with a full release of stress and tension from the mind and body, leaving pleasure and peace where angst and pain previously resided. The high is strong enough to leave the consumer pleasantly sitting, pondering, relieved of the worlds plights with a contentness and self satisfaction to permit the wandering of the mind—but never sleepy, never sedated. Indeed, I prepared a rather large dose of this good medicine and spent three hours lounging on my balcony late into the night, recovering from the day, watching the moon cross the sky and enjoying being alive.
I highly recommend Canis’ Candy Pavé to all consumers out there. The aromas and flavors are masterpieces unto themselves—even those with different terpene preferences will marvel at them. The high is feel good and introspective with pain and stress relief. The bud does have a bit of strength to it, so moderation is key for novice consumers.
