Grower: Humble Gardens Farms

Rating: 4.4

The following diary entry is shared to provide insight into my personal use of cannabis to alleviate a series of medical and health issues, inclusive of insomnia and loss of appetite.

Gastronomical, from Humble Gardens Farms, is a bud with a name that provides high expectations. The bud does have good gas notes—but it has so much more with gas only one, and not necessarily the strongest, element of the bud. The aroma is earthy, with a woodsy essence similar to a deep green forest at the height of summer. The dry pull reveals a “mouth smell” of lime and diesel.  And that diesel does come through strong in the flavor as well, with a honeysuckle sweet lemon and pine in the not too far background.

The high is strong. I felt like I was flying for a while into space on a euphoric cloud before continuing further into the land of slumber. This bud knocked me out pretty fast after completion of the joint. In short this is a happy, full on, stoney bud.

I highly recommend Gastronomical to all experienced consumers.  I enjoyed the balance and nuance of the many flavors and aromas which fully complement the gassy and diesel notes which are strong but not dominating. The high is deep and probably too strong for novice consumers, unless the consumer is looking for a quick and enjoyable trip to sleep.
