The following diary entry is shared to provide insight into my personal use of cannabis to alleviate a series of medical and health issues, inclusive of insomnia and loss of appetite.
There was a time—during and before Covid where Blue Dream was my favorite bud—my go to bud. But just around legalization Blue Dream seemed to disappear. And when it did appear it was never the same. Our own UpperCut competition featured a cut of Blue Dream which was left me yearning for something else. White Labs Thailand, one of the great growers of our community, sent me a sample of Blue Dream a few months ago and that review is available in our pages—but it reminded me too much of the UpperCut Blue Dream for satisfaction. Lucky for me, and for all of Thailand, their latest iteration of Blue Dream is completely different and the closest to that memory of Blue Dream that I hold so dear. This Blue Dream comes through with a creamy sweet blue berry aroma, sweet and sour citrus, a touch of funk and a woodsy pine. The flavor is a super smooth and gentle sweet creamy, powdery berry taste, with a secondary woodsy note. Very tasty.
The high starts euphoric, engaged, excited (part of the excitement could be due to my satisfaction with the bud itself after years of searching for quality Blue Dream). The bud then takes a mellow and chill turn—relaxing and contemplative, satisfied, content and accepting of the state of being. Never drowsy or overwhelming.
If you have fond memories of Blue Dream—or have been disappointed in the last few years with the Blue Dream you have come across—I highly recommend you get your hands on this bud. It is the best Blue Dream out there—with great flavors, aromas and an enjoyable high. I still think that the cut itself, while highly enjoyable, is maximized to its potential but falls a level below White Lab’s regular work, which is amongst the best in Thailand. But, it is the best Blue Dream available—and the only one out there that I have truly fully enjoyed.

Blue Dream is my everyday ‘go to’ also. At first I didn’t know if the market would even accept an old school boring strain like Blue Dream but after searching far and wide with lots of testing phenos I found the one I like and people are also seeing what I see too. That’s rewarding, we here at White Labs Thailand appreciate you saying so.
