Grower: Slow Life Farm

Rating: 4.4

The following diary entry is shared to provide insight into my personal use of cannabis to alleviate a series of medical and health issues.

Electric Crayon opens with citrus lemon and pine, very sweet, with a lemon squash character backed by sour sweet grapefruit. There’s an earthy quality that comes through on the dry pull too. It was delightfully surprising, then, to find the flavor take such a different turnโ€”buttery, cookie-vibe, earthy, herbal and minty, a real contrast to that bright citrus nose. And just when you think you’ve settled into that cookie character, the bud throws one more curveball as it burns down, picking up a bit of diesel alongside a return of citrus. A genuinely fun evolution to track across a session.

The high starts heady, with a real sense of focus and dial-in, but it doesn’t stay there. It progressively gets stronger and moves into the body, taking motivation with it, while the senses stay fully awakened the whole time.

I recommend Electric Crayon to all consumers. The contrast between that bright citrus aroma and the buttery cookie flavorโ€”before the diesel citrus twist at the endโ€”makes this a genuinely interesting smoke from start to finish. The high’s slow build from heady focus into a body-centered, senses-on experience rounds out a nice overall arc. Slow Life Farm continues to put out interesting work.
