The following diary entry is shared to provide insight into my personal use of cannabis to alleviate a series of medical and health issues.
I went looking for something sweet and fruityโwell outside my usual preferencesโand Flantine pulled me in immediately. The aroma is strikingly sweet and expressive, led by ripe berries and a distinct grape cough syrup note. Fullon fumes accompany the sweetness, with a soft creaminess lurking just beneath the surface, partially obscured but clearly present. Itโs an aroma that demands attention and sets high expectations from the first crack of the jar. The flavor captures the aromatic profile, though with a notable shift in emphasis. The sweet berry and grape notes recede into the background, overtaken by a heavier earthiness and pronounced kerosene fumes. While the flavor is good, it doesnโt quite rise to the level promised by the nose, which is undeniably the star of this cultivar.
Where Flantine truly shines once again is in its high. The senses feel fully awakened and engaged, finding deep satisfaction in hours of music, food, and the pleasures of touch. At the same time, the effect is undeniably strongโmoderately stoned for the experienced consumerโeventually guiding this old toker gently to sleep.
I recommend Flantine for its superb aroma and deeply enjoyable high, though I do wish the flavor more closely mirrored the brilliance of the nose. This is likely too strong for novice consumers, but for experienced tokers prioritizing a high and aroma, this hits it out of the park.
