Meringue from Cannatopia is a bud that earns its name completely. The aroma is smooth, refined, and immediately evocative — lemon leading with a clean, bright clarity, vanilla, caramel, spice and pine adding warmth and resinous depth, earthy notes grounding the whole profile, and a sweet tart quality that, taken together with the rosemary threading through the background, makes the meringue reference not merely a marketing flourish but a genuinely accurate description. You smell this bud and you understand, without needing to be told, exactly why it is called Meringue. The flavor takes that same identity and translates it into something slightly different but equally compelling — a solid, cookies-forward experience with spice, pine, and nutmeg adding warmth and complexity, sweet and earthy in equal measure, with a slight citrus presence that plays a supporting rather than leading role. The notes arrive in a different order than the aroma suggests, and the meringue quality is present but with the lemon pulled back, giving the flavor a more grounded and baked character that is satisfying in its own right.
The high is where Meringue reveals its full depth and ambition — balanced and profound from the outset, the body sinking into a deep, loose, and utterly content relaxation while the mind drifts into a happy daydream state where time passes gently and without urgency, and life feels, in the most uncomplicated and beautiful sense, simply wonderful. It is the kind of high that doesn’t demand anything of the consumer except that they surrender to it — and the surrender, when it comes, is complete, culminating in a deep slumber.
I highly recommend Meringue to experienced consumers who appreciate a lemon and spice-forward aroma with profound physical relaxation and a deeply happy, dreamlike mental state. Novice consumers beware—the bud is strong!
