Grower: Humble Gardens
Rating: 4.5
The following diary entry is shared to provide insight into my personal use of cannabis to alleviate a series of medical and health issues.
A note on the name: Humble Gardens received these genetics labeled as Permanent Marker, and this is a very special phenotype of that cultivar. The bud does have a strawberry and citrus sweetness which is present and expressive and part of a compelling and layered affair. Sweet, spicy, and gassy at the surface, with a rubbery, skunky heaviness that signals deep Jealousy influence โ that characteristic pine-gas-rubber combination sitting underneath like a foundation wall. But rise above that base and ripe berries, sweet fruit, and most distinctively, fresh strawberries emergeโ sweet rather than sour, lingering on the fingers long after handling the bud. The flavor leans into the Jealousy sideโheavy gas, pine, and skunk taking the leadโbold, confident, and deeply satisfying for consumers who love that classic profile.
The high is sedative and relaxing, laying the consumer into a laid-back, unhurried state. All the while with a euphoric silliness that creeps in at the edges, cheeky and warm, that keeps the experience from feeling heavy or one-dimensional. It is the kind of high that makes you smile without quite knowing why.
I highly recommend Permanent Marker from Humble Gardens, and especially this unique pheno, to experienced consumers who appreciate a complex, gas-forward profile with a surprising and generous sweetness underneath. Humble Gardens has done excellent work here, and this bud deserves to be sought out.
