Rach Rollers sent me through their latest harvest with a couple new buds, Snowman and Black Truffle which have been separately reviewed in these pages. They also sent me four other cultivars—Satan Banger, Mango Mad, Permz and Macmosa—which have been recently reviewed in these pages. For each one of these buds as I took down my notes I realized that I had little to add to my previous reviews. So, I just sat back and enjoyed each one of these buds and Rach Rollers particular mode of sun and greenhouse growth. And that is the beauty of Rach Rollers—their buds have distinct natural look and flavor which may not have the blingy look of (properly and well grown) indoor buds, but does bring with it an earthy attractiveness to the eyes, nose, tongue and in the high itself. Fuzzy, fluffy, generally delicious with excellent highs—these are the characteristics of cannabis that defined the ideal buds of my more youthful days. These are the characteristics of Rach Rollers’ buds.
I normally would not comment on buds without significant changes from the previous harvest, and I suppose I have not really commented on the buds themselves herein. But I do want to point out that there is an important place in the market for growers like Rach Rollers. Consumers and readers who pass on greenhouse (and outdoor buds) are missing out on the different nuances in cannabis—and leaving out an important part of their cannabis education and enjoyability. Folks can have their preferences, but the reality is that as long as the cannabis is safe (and I cannot emphasize the importance of safety enough!)—there isn’t really a wrong way to grow buds. Don’t rob yourself by ignoring the natural.
