This is the first time that Barkuna Cannabis has graced these pages and lungs. Their Sour Skittlez, a giant yellowish green sticky and dense bud, comes out of its packing with a nutty, citrussy sour sweet essence which gets stronger as the bud is broken up. Once the bud is ground a strong sour candy citrus and fruit aroma hits the nose—with a dry pull confirming a sour sweet, tropical candy “mouth smell”. The flavor will delight those consumers who are drawn to candy cultivars, with candy sweet, herbal and floral, tropical fruit tastes and a peppery overlay. While this bud for sure falls in the modern group of candy cultivars—the flavors are cleaner, less artificial, and smoother than most other candy cultivars I have tried.
The high is mostly heady, starting off with a bit of a daze which settles into a slow creative focus, alertness and an engine of stable energy which will keep the consumer awake and moving, but is by no means overwhelming, anxious or edgy. Indeed, this is an excellent bud for a combination of stress relief and work. I really enjoyed it (it kept me awake and thinking into the wee hours of the night).
I recommend Sour Skittlez to both novice and experienced users. Novice users will benefit from learning about a candy cultivar which natural and clean tendencies and a wonderful high. Experienced consumers will utilize this excellent high for productivity.
