The following diary entry is shared to provide insight into my personal use of cannabis to alleviate a series of medical and health issues.
Superbuff Cherry served as my “bitter herbs” on the first night of Passover. If anything is holy, it’s cannabis—and I have to say that Jungle Haze has consistently been doing cherry right. This iteration of Superbuff Cherry straddled the line between cherry and orange, with strong, concentrated, sharp flavors and aromas of both, plus a good earthiness and spice in the smoke. I had a hankering for that combination, and it did more than scratch the itch.
The high is incredibly functional while being super relaxing at the same time, and that balance is why I ultimately decided this bud was worthy of its very high ranking. The brain stays fully engaged—creative, thoughtful, insightful, and a little dangerous to those around—while the muscles loosen, pain is alleviated, stress is dispersed, and everything feels sabai sabai. There’s no lethargy or sleepiness here, so while it is relaxing, it’s still appropriate for daytime use (though I prefer it late afternoon as part of a longer winddown).
I highly recommend Superbuff Cherry to anyone looking for a utilitarian high that still manages to fully loosen the body and relieve pain. The flavors and aromas are excellent—especially if you’re in the mood for that sharp cherrymeetsorange profile. In moderation, this could also be a good cultivar for novice consumers to experiment with and see the diverse effects of this holy of holiest of bitter herbs.
