Grower: White Labs Thailand

Rating: 4.5

The following diary entry is shared to provide insight into my personal use of cannabis to alleviate a series of medical and health issues.

This is the fourth time Iโ€™ve reviewed Tea Time (and the third time from White Labs), and itโ€™s striking how noticeably different the bud feels each time I pick it up. The notes themselves stay in the same family, but the way they blendโ€”and the way they take turns in the spotlightโ€”creates a new flavor-and-aroma experience with every iteration. This round opens on a strong floral and earthy base with a definite, slightly sweet tea note. A distinct โ€œEnglish Breakfast teaโ€ character comes throughโ€”subtle, but clearly identifiableโ€”while layers of gentle acidity emerge around it, with sour citrus and lime accents adding brightness. The citrus reads more like a squeeze of lime into a cup of English Breakfast than the embedded, perfumed citrus of an Earl Grey. On the nose, the notes feel distinct and independent rather than fully blended. The flavor keeps that tea-forward profile, now supported by a woody backbone that complements (and this time actually blends with) the tea. Herbal and pine notes come through cleanly, alongside a soft, subtle citrus sherbet-and-cream accent with faint fruit sweetness. The lime persists but stays controlled rather than dominant. Overall, the impression is understated and nuanced rather than loudโ€”very refined.

The high hits quickly with an immediate heady cerebral liftโ€”buzzing energy, euphoria, and a clear sense of stimulation. Then it turns dreamy and wistful, slowing the body and mind and easing the mood into something softer, with an unmistakable pull toward leisure and rest.

I highly recommend this iteration of Tea Time. Itโ€™s a refined, tea-driven profile that leans into subtlety and balanceโ€”more a thoughtful, nuanced experience than a punchy oneโ€”and it should especially appeal to anyone who appreciates restrained, layered flavor over sheer intensity. Probably too sophisticated a bud for the novice consumerโ€”but a treat for anyone who has been around the block a few times.
