Bahama Runtz is controversial in my household. The bud has a very strong aroma of the usual candy notes associated with Runtz, but with an added emphasis on the pineapple and a sour yogurt smell.  I found the aroma curious and intriguingā€”Mrs. Mendel found it off putting and retreated. While I can understand why the aroma may be controversial and subject to each consumerā€™s subjective tastes, the flavor for me is hands down excellent, with one of the most developed and delicious Runtz tastes of candied fruit, with strong pineapple flavors, and a spiciness akin to retsyn (which gave the now discontinued certs candies their distinctive taste). This may be the most interesting Runtz flavor I have come across.

The high is very good, strong in the body and refreshing in the mind.  Refreshing, rejuvenating, with a stoned but awake and working head and a body which does not necessarily comply with the mindā€™s orders. It was very difficult to write my notes in book even though my thoughts seemed clear at the time. Even though the body is fairly useless after smoking this budā€”the active mind will not induce sleep and may keep a consumer awake. There is a strange balance here that may confuse a novice consumerā€”but which I enjoyed.

Bahama Runtz is highly recommended for the curious consumer and for any fan of Runtz flavors.  It is not too overpowering for a novice consumerā€”but it may be hard to understand.
