Dispensary: All Time High

I appreciate the generous nature of our industry. Cannabis folks, real cannabis people, love sharing their experiences, their thoughts, and their weed. Lucky for me, All Time High shared all of these, especially their Blue Dream Kief which they introduced to me through a ball powered dry herb vaporizer. This was the first time I used this device, and wow, it is a super heavy hitter.
In short, the kief was loaded into a bowl and attached to a double chambered bong. An electronically heated coil, filled with tiny ruby balls, was placed over the kief, after which I drew a giant hit of vape out of the bong. The flavor was very pure with a sweet, menthol and slight fruity taste. But the hit was overwhelming and left me coughing for an extended time period and very high, very quickly.
We were very close to the end of the interview, and while I remember and have notes of my conversation from the point of inhalation on, it was very difficult to speak and react to the conversation. The Blue Dream Kief, and the high volume of vape which I took in, left me super high, floating in the clouds. It took all the effort I could muster to audibly react to the ongoing conversation. I walked a good 3 KMs after the interview trying to find my bearings and come back to reality. Along the way I took photos of all things cannabis, and truly enjoyed my walk. By the time I got home I was ready and eager to speak and interact with my family. Food, conversation, and play were all exciting and fun. By the end of dinner (around 830 PM) I was ready to call it a night and go to sleep. However, a call to New York for an upcoming podcast kept me awake until close to midnight. Despite being tired, I found that my thoughts were clear enough to communicate my positions on the call without fail.
Blue Dream is a bit of a trip, and hitting kief so hard made this a very long trip. I am used to starting off with a bit of a sativa burst of energy which dives into a hard indica stoned feeling. This did not happen with this experience. Instead, I started off being completely floored and gained more control over myself after a bit of time. In general I was quite happy, attentive and engaged throughout the high. But, at times my trip flirted with paranoia—though never for long.
Blue Dream Kief is only appropriate for experienced users. Kief hits hard and the high lasts a long time—it is too intense and too trippy for inexperienced users who may panic as a result of its intense turns. Experienced users will know to hold on for the ride and wait to see what lies around the corner. I do recommend Blue Dream Kief for experienced users—and would like to experience this once more in a controlled environment. I plan to try Blue Dream flower in the near future.
