Chemdawg was interesting—in some ways very different from what I had expected and in other ways matching what I thought I would find. The odors were good, gassy, diesel and earth with a bit of pine on the dry pull. But the odors were also mild—I had expected to be hit in the face by gas and this didn’t happen. What I was expecting with the odors did, however, show up in the tastes—strong diesel and sweet earthy flavors made this an enjoyable smoke.

Chemdawg’s high is heavy and plows through both the mind and body. The mind is stimulated but at the same time useless—its as if the brain has been put on alert but a cloud ensures that nothing will be created. At the same time Chemdawg completely incapacitates the body making menial tasks challenging. Chemdawg’s strength also had my high veer close to feelings of paranoia—I never fully entered that land, but I can see less experienced users find themselves there.

I would recommend that novice users stay away from Chemdawg—its too strong and may lead to some scary experiences. With regards to experienced users I would recommend the bud for lovers of gas—the flavor is a really great gassy diesel—a flavor I really enjoyed. The high is too heavy for me—but this may appeal to folks who want to just blend in and become part of the furniture.
