The immediate aroma of Chimera is dark chocolate—but the pungent and loud odor of strawberries and a more delicate cream quickly overpower that initial essence leaving it as a faint memory. This is one of the best and delicious smelling buds I have come across. The flavor, which is still excellent but not as impressive as the aroma, is of subtly sweet strawberries with a good earthiness to it.
Chimera’s high starts focused, clear and alert in the head and a nice gentle tingling in the body. That tingling gets stronger in the body, leading to deep relaxation, euphoria and eventually sleep. The bud is strong but not overwhelming and has no dips, or tricky turns. Just a straight forward enjoyable bud which progressively form alert, to relaxed, to asleep over the course of an evening.
I highly recommend Chimera to any user who values aroma. I have come across very few buds which smell as good as this one. The effects are strong and should be used sparingly by novice tokers—but one or two puffs can’t hurt. Experienced users will love this bud to close their day.
