Dispensary: Sukhumweed and Underground Grower

Rating: 4.6 leaves

I have wanted to try Emergen-C ever since I saw it covered on the very excellent Thai Top Shelf Youtube channel (I am a big fan). The strain received rave reviews which I can confirm it definitely deserves the accolades.

My buds were small but beautiful. Like tiny little Christmas trees with multiple hues of dark green with lighter green little hairs highlighted throughout the bud. The aroma is incredible—like opening a can of concentrated Minute Maid orange juice. I routinely shove my fingers in my wife’s face after breaking up a bud followed by the question: “what does this smell like?” The answer is usually an annoyed: “weed”. But this time the answer was: “your fingers smell like oranges—what are you doing?”

The initial effects of Emergen-C are quite strong with pressure behind the eyes. The pressure dissipates and a mellowness emerges coupled with an uplifting, thoughtful and logical mood. The effects then evolve into a content and good time feel and a relaxedness within the body.

Emergen-C is the right strain for either experienced or novice users. The flavors are pretty wild—and should be experienced by all. The effects are those of a good sativa leaning hybrid with just enough indica effects to mellow out into a peaceful evening. A very enjoyable bud from start to finish.
