Dispensary: Dr. Green

Grower: Dr. Green

Rating: 4.6

I am a sucker for the classics—and I was ecstatic to find out that Dr. Green was growing and rolling out a series of OG strains at the beginning of 2023 (and even happier that those strains landed on my lap). The first I tried was Jack Herer, letting my nose lead me to the appropriate bud.

Dr. Green’s does Jack Herer right. The buds are a pretty dark green with lighter green and orange hairs. The odors are piney, almost nutty with some subtle gassy elements in the background. The flavor per my notes is “so good” with that OG weed taste of youth, piney and skunky on the after taste.

Jack Herer will make you feel awesome—as I write these words, I am tempted to leave everything behind and smoke the small morsel which I still have hidden in my stash. The effects are uplifting, euphoric, happy while at the same time grounded in a clear perspective of life. A perfect strain to ponder and accept the meaninglessness of life. There is a reason why Jack Here is a classic—why don’t more growers in Thailand focus on the classics?

Jack Herer will be appreciated by experienced users and must be required smoking for novice users. High quality, full of good herby taste and odor, with classic effects. Drop your dessert strains and return to the classics.
