Neon Princess is a very unique strain. It has a sweet, vanilla, cream soda odor which becomes a bit gassy and sour when broken up. Once combusted the bud has a sweet vanilla, hazelnut latte flavor with the nuttiness and a sweet earthiness getting stronger as the bud burns down. A delicious and rare taste.
The high is pretty crazy and heads in a different direction than most buds. The effects start super chill and relaxing, with warm and effective loosening of the muscles in the back, a mild pleasant pressure in the head, and a lost in the moment happy and satisfied feeling which had me sitting for upwards to 45 minutes staring into oblivion thinking and processing some of the world’s more profound issues. Neon Princess makes time irrelevant and is not conducive to engagement, interaction, or communication with terrestrial beings. It is however trippy, dreamy, and will send the user into another universe—that is until it is time to sleep. I thoroughly enjoyed the high—even some dips into dark places which would be scary for inexperienced users. At one point I felt that sleep was approaching, rather than wait to pass out I threw my head back into my pillows and embraced it. I woke up to the sounds of my own extremely loud snores hours later.
Novice users, stay away from Neon Princess. You will be left in a corner crying. Experienced users, go for it, embrace it, have fun and then go to sleep. I highly recommend Neon Princess for experienced users. This bud was designed to go places in the head while keeping the body in one (very relaxed) place.
