Fire Farms is now a known commodity. Their buds are crazy beautiful and the quality sits at the top with just a few other quality growers. The Soap, their latest sativa leaning bud, is something special—a bud which takes the user on an adventure. Like all other Fire Farms bud the colors (this time a dusty Kelly-green base with a mass of orange 1980s pubic hairs) amaze and the springiness and stickiness stick out.  Its odor is a deep sour—like a sour fruity red candy cane with a belch of gas. Once ground, an additional herbal smell joins the fun. But it is in the flavor where the adventure truly begins. The Soap starts off with a sour cherry candy flavor—which would be expected from the odor—but midway through a joint the cherry starts to blend with menthol in a very herbal and Chinese medicine like flavor—and it keeps developing until the bud is just pure mint. The Soap finishes in a shocking cool tingly minty flavor which is similar to biting an Altoid or eating an entire pack of Mentos. This is a weird bud, but weird in an awesome way.

The adventure continues in the high, which starts full in the head with very little effect in the body. Clear headed, happy, focused, destressed, reflective and remorseful for earlier impatience, the early effects are all positive. These effects and feeling continue to build and are accompanied by an enjoyable pressure throughout the head and slight relaxation in the body—then soaring euphoria and elation—followed by a peaceful and Zen clear consciousness. The adventure ends with the body and mind agreeing to go to sleep. I was laying on my couch when something clicked and I knew I just had to go to sleep. I threw my head back into my pillows and woke myself up two hours later to the sound of my snoring.

I highly recommend The Soap for all users—especially lovers of sativas. Novice users, approach this bud with moderation, but experience it nonetheless. The Soap has some wonderful effects which will put the user on a reflective and positively calm plane. Experienced users, this is a unique bud which will take you on a beautiful journey.
