Grower: Fire Farms

Rating: 4.6

Fire Farms grows buds which are a world unto themselves. Big juicy buds which look more like alien fruits of some sort. Peanut Butter Gelato is no exception. This bud is dark with colors from purple to green, to brown orange cover this small planet of weed. When breaking the bud apart an intense stickiness accompanies dank earthy, sweet, chocolate, pine, nutty, spicy and finally lemon odors. The taste is intense, starting off with a lemon pine, but quickly becoming more and more chocolatey until the very smooth smoke tastes like a Good Humor Fudgesicle and then ends with a peppery earthy nuttiness. The flavors and aromas are unique to say the least.

Peanut Butter Gelato is strong and dreamy. I smoked half a joint and felt sleepy, relaxed and completely unmotivated. All I wanted to do was lie down on my couch and fall asleep with some background noise. After about half an hour or so the sleepiness wore off and a deep relaxed and content feeling remained. I still felt unmotivated and stoned—but not comatose (so I finished the remainder of the joint and passed out).

Peanut Butter Gelato is only for experienced users—everything about it is too strong for novice users. The tastes and odors are too complicated and layered for novice users to appreciate; and the high is just too damn strong—novice users won’t know what hit them. Even experienced users will need to make sure they are chilling at home with all responsibilities behind them before using this bud. Peanut Butter Gelato is delicious but strong—proceed with caution.
