I have been really excited to try Rick Flair OG for quite some time. ChokiChokiBoy has been working hard on this cultivar for quite some time and I have been waiting with great anticipation to try this dense green bud. The fact that the bud pays homage to that great hall of fame professional wrestler is also endearing. The bud comes out of its packaging with loudly with a menthol, pine, earthy, lemon, chemical aroma. The flavor is quite excellent with strong herbal and nutty notes with a subtle complementing sweetness. The lemony chemical aroma was hard to find in the flavor.
The high is perfect for a night in at home with limited activity and zero responsibility. Immediately after concluding my joint time began to slow down and I felt my body begin to relax but get heavier. I expected to be passed out on my ass in a matter of minutes. This did not happen, instead I lay in bed watching a horrible romcom (Set it Up on Netflix) with Mrs. Mendel from start to finish. I did not complain (not true I complained all the way through)—and maybe I somehow enjoyed how horrible it was (I did). I never passed out—I never parted with my ability to think—I was chill, relaxed, happy and useless, but still on planet earth.
I highly recommend Ric Flair OG to experienced consumers—I am not sure about novice consumers. Experienced consumers will appreciate the ability to get high, close to stoned, fully leg locked, but not depart this plane. The bud is strong—way too strong for novice consumers—but at the same time the effects are very pleasant, enjoyable, and happy. Perhaps this is one of those cultivars which would justify one or two puffs for that novice consumer as part of their education.
