Grower: Actera

Rating: 4.4

It seems that Cherry cultivars have slowly crept into my stash and are becoming one of, if not the most, common of buds therein. Trop Cherry Gas from Actera holds its own in the battle for best cherry. It may be the most beautiful, a dense white frosted purple black bud with sparse but significant brown orange hairs poorly trying to blend into the background.  The bud gives off strong tart cherry candy fumes which are matched by its earthy cherry schnapps flavor. The flavor is quite delicious, though with a slight bitterness, when combustedā€”however when dry vaped the terps really come through strong and clear as if in stereo.

Like other cherry cultivars, Trop Cherry Gas has a stimulating initial effect, heady with creative tendencies.  The high does, however, slow down a bit and become more relaxing, chill, at easeā€”allowing for introspection, enjoyment, and slower more thoughtful work.

This bud is appropriate for both novice and experienced consumers. The bud has enough strength and character to be interesting for experienced consumers while also being gentle enough (in moderation) to act as an introduction to stimulating and utilitarian cultivars with a gentle and appropriate slowdown for contemplation and enjoyment.
