During Thailand’s current law-free period, the group expressed concerns and opposed marijuana legalization, arguing that the implementation is unclear as law, leading to marijuana abuse and misuse for recreational purposes, particularly among children and teenagers.

“If the situation of cannabis cultivation and distribution continues like this, it will have negative consequences for the country, especially among future generations,” said the Chairman of the Islamic Committee of Satun Province. As a result, we’d like the government to reconsider decriminalization and immediately end the law-free period.”More Details
