Grower: Actera/Taratera with Compound Genetics Thailand

Rating: 4.4

Actera’s Apples and Bananas look luscious. Velvety—dark purple—frosted to the max—with green orange hairs—crafted as if for a KPop video with an aesthetic which breathes both cuteness and sex. The essence is strong, nutty, sweet with a sour acidic sweetness reminiscent of apple cider vinegar and the subtle soft hint of a soft tropical candy fruit—the candy version of a banana. The flavor is candy chemical sweet, similar to my favorite GariGarikun blue soda popsicle. Flavors which are more pear than apple with a bit of tingly pepper on the lips.

The high is strong, mind numbing—leaving me useless, but content, on the couch with my Netflix rolling and my eyes growing heavy and then shut. 2-3 episodes of Ripley played in front of my listless but snoring body before Mrs. Mendel came to the living room, complained about the noise, and shooed me off to bed in a groggy stupor. This is a bud with serious strength.

I recommend Apples and Bananas to experienced consumers who can handle and are looking for a strong bud. Indeed, everything about this bud, nose, taste and high, is strong and would be too overwhelming for a novice consumer. Apples and Bananas is not for the virgins—but rather for an old pro who as been around the block a few times and can handle it all.
