This is probably the fourth or fifth time that I have smoked Da Funk and the third time that this bud appearing in these pages. I consider Da Funk, particularly Canis’s Da Funk, a local classic. One that always delivers and never lets you down.
This version of Da Funk is a fat purple bud with orange rusk hairs with the strong sweet gassy citrus aromas with an intense lime essence (our earlier review found a stronger berry lavender aroma). The flavor is still earthy and floral with a sweet prune taste. The effects are strong moving from the head quickly to the body, relaxing, chilling, slowing everything down but super happy and convivial and introspective.
I recommend Da Funk to both novice and experienced users. It is strong, and to that end experienced users will feel more comfortable navigating the deep relaxing effects. However, while it is a strong bud it is not debilitating and the feel-good elements may help novice users weather the deep body high.
