Dispensary: Sukhumweed and Automush888

UpperCut on Tour: Trunkee in Treetown on the 6th of April in Pattaya at The Budtender in Tree Town

Rating: 4.6 leaves

For the last couple months I had been intending to put together a podcast with the good people of Sukhumweed. The ongoing discussions in the cannabis community regarding regulations and life in general have been delaying the process, but hopefully we will get there at some point. In one of our planning discussions regarding the podcast Beer pulled out a big beautiful bud, the likes of which one would expect to find in a movie. At least the type of movie I would want to direct. This bud was Donkey Butter, a large pungent , gassy, grey green queen begging to be worshiped or smoked. When smoked Donkey Butter has a smooth, earthy and classic flavor. There is no fruitiness or sweetness—no sourness—this is a very weedy tasting bud.

Though listed as an indica leaning hybrid, the bud did not sedate or tire me.  It did relax me and dissipate all stress that I may have been feeling. I was happy, carefree, excited, and eager to float through the world. Indeed, I slowly walked from Sukhweed to the Ekkamai BTS happily passing by cars, motorbikes and other pedestrians who all seemed to be as happy as I was. At one point I felt the need to call a friend to tell him how happy I was. I placed my earpods in, but rather than dial my friend, I listened to the Hamilton Remix all the way home, taking the longer route when possible to continue enjoying my music.

Cannabis is subjective.  Sometimes you need the right bud at the right time at the right place. For me, the right bud on that Saturday afternoon was Donkey Butter. A strain I would highly recommend to experienced users—for the taste and effects. For novice users, I cautiously encourage them to use this bud sparingly. It should be experienced, but this is a strong bud and should be experienced by novice users in moderation.
