I have been waiting a week to light up Girl Scout Fighter. The gents from Sovereign were kind enough to invite me to their makeshift Bangkok headquarters where they were selecting some phenos and packaging and distributing their latest harvest. A huge bowl of GSF was sitting out in the open contributing heavily to the beautiful aroma in the room. I almost lit it up then and there—but decided that I would give this bud an extra week to mature a bit. A week later the aromas are still beautiful with a fresh lemon lime leading the way followed by a freshly cleaned sour pine scent and a hint of honeysuckle. A dry pull revealed a more herbal and minty “mouth smell”. Once lit the bud followed a more herby, earthy and almost chive flavor with just hints of citrus early on.
I was a bit disappointed that the beautiful aroma was not captured more in the flavor—but that disappointed dissipated upon the onset of GSF’s excellent high. GSF is a feel good bud with soaring euphoric, positive feelings which arrives with a cheeky mischievous energy—aroused senses—and a stimulated brain which is ready to create, imagine, and apply. The energy is countered by a relaxing, chill, stress free feeling which gets stronger as the high develops.
I recommend Girl Scout Fighter to both experienced and novice users. The aroma and high are excellent—and will be appreciated by all users. I wish the flavor matched the aroma more—but by the soaring high makes it hard to make such complaints while under the bud’s spell. Novice users should use the bud sparingly but while the relaxing effects may sedate them, the effects should not be overwhelming.
