Mimosa Orange Punch bud’s are Jurassicly large and rounded, exaggerated, like some deep green monstrosity out of Super Mario 3’s “Giant Land” (level 4). In fact everything about this strain is extreme. Mimosa Orange Punch has a strong sour and fruity sweet essence. This odor is matched by its flavor, a super sweet orange creamsicle with a slight menthol aftertaste. Â
This hybrid strain starts off gentle, without fanfare, with a bit of a head high—nothing remarkable at first. But then, after about 15-20 minutes—it kicks in. The pressure in the head becomes more intense and then very slowly melts down into the neck, shoulders, buttocks, and the entire body, becoming more and more intense with every minute until the user is stoned.Â
After one session (vaping) with Mimosa Orange Punch, even though stoned, I was still able to hold slow conversations and had a bit of clarity, with what I thought were relatively profound and focused thoughts. After a second round the same night (in a pipe) I was thoroughly finished for the night—completely stoned and useless to society. Indeed, I even tried it the next night after smoking a Sugar Cane joint with the same effects.
Mimosa Orange Punch is a seriously strong strain recommended for experienced indica users. In small quantities it does have some positive cerebral effects as well as relaxing body effects. However, in moderate to large amounts this bud will knock you on your ass. Experienced users will know their limit and how to use the strain within that limit. This is probably too strong for inexperienced users. Furthermore, Mimosa Orange Punch has a fantastic flavor which may entice users to come back for more (like your dedicated correspondent). The siren song of Mimosa Orange Punch will probably seduce all users—virgins beware.Â
