Orange Velvet is the first bud I tried from the good growers of How Hygh. The buds, dark green—sticky and crystaly—have a bitter sweet orange smell with a mild but noticeable gassiness. The flavor is of sweet oranges, a flavor which pleasantly coats the mouth.
The initial effects of Orange Velvet are a heady but relaxed and chill feeling—a feeling which I expected to continue getting more relaxed. Orange Velvet heads in the other direction, becoming buzzy, feel good, happy, excited, engaged, and eager to communicate. This is definitely a sativa leaning feel good bud. A bud I thoroughly enjoyed.
I would recommend Orange Velvet to both novice and experienced users. The bud is strong enough to be enjoyable for experienced users, but not overwhelming or threatening to novice users. The effects are happy and positive—energetic. An excellent social strain for all.
