Skywalker OG is part of a mix of greenhouse grown buds I received from Siam Hektares. The bud itself has a classic beauty, deep green, fresh looking covered in small green hairs. The bud retained a bit more moisture than I normally prefer—and could have been cured slightly longer. The aroma has elements of pine, menthol, slight gas, and earthiness which become stronger once ground. The smell initially attracted me to Skywalker OG so I was very happy to experience the stronger odors as the buds were prepared to smoke. The first few puffs of my joint were a bit harsh and bitter, but the flavor got smoother and more delicious as the bud burnt on with earthy, piney, and spicy tastes. Indeed, I was sad to see the 1 gram joint come to an end.
Skywalker OG’s high is awesome—incredibly enjoyable. It starts off chill, laid back, happy with an engaging thoughtful high mostly in the head and with a slight creep throughout the body. But that slight body high, gradually gets stronger, going from a hint to a tingle to slowly taking completely over. Skywalker OG is gradual and gentle—but fully encompassing. There is no turning back—eventually the toker will be deep in a full night’s sleep.
I underestimated Skywalker OG and I was wrong to do so. This bud is a really great experience. The high develop over time—it is fun—it is positive—and it leads to a great deep sleep. Novice users—if you are patient and understand that this is a strong slow release bud then take a couple puffs early in the evening and slowly watch your night unfold and end in bed. Experienced users—have fun!
